Who we are
Tenfold Apps is run by BJ Makundi, a sole proprietor in South Africa. Postal address: PostNet Suite 215, Private Bag X18, Rondebosch, 7701, Cape Town, South Africa. Email: hello@tenfoldapps.com.
What SameLabel stores
- Your shop's details from Shopify: your shop's address on Shopify (for example yourshop.myshopify.com), the access token Shopify gives the app, and the permissions you approved.
- Your label templates: the label stock, fields, font, sizes and offsets you save, with every saved version.
- How many labels you print each month, as a number, so the Free plan's monthly limit works.
What SameLabel reads but does not keep
When you print, the app reads the products and variants you pick from your shop: titles, SKUs, barcodes, prices and stock levels. It uses them to make your PDF and does not keep them or the PDF.
If you tick the option to create codes for variants without a barcode, the app writes those codes to your products' barcode field in Shopify. It never overwrites a barcode that is already there.
What SameLabel never touches
Your customers. The app has no permission to read customers, orders or addresses, and it stores no personal information about your customers.
Why we use it
Only to run the app: to print your labels, keep your templates exactly as you saved them, apply your plan's limits and answer your support requests. We do not sell or share your information, and we do not use advertising trackers. This website sets no cookies.
Who else processes it
- Shopify: hosts your shop, handles installation and billing for the app.
- DigitalOcean: the server SameLabel runs on.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and forwards email sent to hello@tenfoldapps.com.
- Google: the mailbox our support email arrives in.
How long we keep it
When you uninstall SameLabel, we delete your shop's templates, label counts and access token straight away. Shopify also sends a request to erase a shop's data 48 hours after uninstalling, and we act on it the same way. Support emails are kept only as long as we need them to help you.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about your shop, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it: email hello@tenfoldapps.com. You can also complain to South Africa's Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za) or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If the app starts storing anything new, we will say so here before it does.
