Terms of service
Last updated: 24 October 2026. These terms cover SameLabel, a Shopify app by Tenfold Apps (BJ Makundi, sole proprietor, South Africa).
Using SameLabel
By installing SameLabel you agree to these terms and to Shopify's terms for apps. You must be allowed to act for the shop you install it on.
Plans and billing
The plans and prices are shown on SameLabel's Shopify App Store listing and inside the app. Shopify bills you for paid plans on your Shopify invoice, and handles any free trial. You can change or cancel your plan at any time, or stop paying by uninstalling the app. If we ever raise a price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
Your labels
- Test before you print a batch. Printers and label sheets vary slightly. Print a test page on plain paper and hold it over a label sheet before printing on labels; the template's offset setting corrects a printer that prints slightly off position.
- Your product details are your responsibility. Labels show what is in your Shopify products: names, prices, SKUs and barcodes.
- Codes SameLabel creates are for your own shop only. They use the GS1 numbers set aside for in-store use. They are not registered product barcodes (GTINs) and should not be used on products sold through other retailers or marketplaces.
Our promise about templates
A template you save prints the same way until you change it. If we ever cannot keep that promise for a saved template, the app will tell you instead of printing something different.
Things you must not do
Don't use SameLabel to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to try to access other shops' data or disrupt the service.
Availability and liability
We work to keep SameLabel running and correct, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses (such as lost sales or wasted label stock), and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us for SameLabel in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop using SameLabel at any time by uninstalling it; we then delete your shop's data as our privacy policy describes. We may suspend a shop that breaks these terms, and will tell you why.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
